How Distance Reiki Works…
One of the most frequent questions I receive about Distance Reiki is…
“How does it work if we aren’t in the same room together?”
The benefits of Reiki whether distance or in-person are immense. The balancing of one’s energy from within exerts a peacefulness like no other.
Distance Reiki needs to be facilitated by a Reiki Master who is attuned to the the Reiki Distance Healing symbol called Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. This symbol enables the facilitator to send healing energies to others at a distance, wherever they may be! This symbol allows the Reiki energy to be connected in a particular way: in a way where you do not have to worry about time or distance, and it is an integral part of Reiki practice. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can be used to send healing energy to someone sitting next to you (without putting your hands on them). You can send Reiki to someone who is the other side of the street, in a different village or town, or in a different continent.
