Albert Ellis’ quote made me sit up and listen. When I say listen, I mean I really listened to my inner voice. Thinking back to my formative teenage years I realized how I allowed circumstances around me dictate my destiny. Until I started actively participating in my inner work through meditation, journaling, tapping, spiritual classes and Usui Reiki Master Certification I finally began to unleash my true self. The changes in my life have been immense and I wouldn’t change one experience in my 54 years, for that is what has shaped me into who I am today. For without those experiences I would never have unearthed a different way of living.
