The Best Day of Your Life
Recently I was flagged by this image of “Memories on Facebook” post from 5 years ago and it still resonates with me today!
Five plus years ago I came to the realization that I needed to change my approach to my life after suffering from debilitating migraines for many many years and several surgeries to ensure my health I began to take life changing actions.
I needed to get out of the mindset “oh, your mother, grandmother, etc., suffer from migraines this will become a way of your life.”
“What the heck? No way, this can’t be the way of my life till the end!”
I began seeking out alternatives and thankfully a whole new world opened up to me of crystals, journaling (even though I journaled for years I finally dug into the weeds so to speak), massage therapy, meditation, Reiki, tapping, and connection to Spirit.
I am at the healthiest stage in my life at the age of 52 and truly greeting each day of the wonders of a child experiencing life for the first time.
It’s never too late to create your authentic life. What are you doing to ensure your well being?
For me on a daily basis:
- A stretching regiment every morning and a walk at lunch time. Meditation in the morning and before going to bed.
- Journaling daily.
- Weekly self Reiki treatments.
The list goes on for self-care.
