Welcome back to the second day of Transformation Tips Tuesday!
Today, I am chatting about meditation and how it calmed me and ultimately broke the cycle of my migraines.
Quite some time ago, I became interested in meditation and learning what the benefits in practicing it on a daily basis would do for my mind, body and soul. Pleasantly I have had continuous positive results where it calms my mind and I approach most stressful moments and day-to-day tasks with ease and peace. My migraines are now non-existent for the most part, but when the occasional migraine does pop-up I no longer panic. I get into the self-care mode immediately and I retreat to my meditation Reiki room and settle in for a rejuvenating meditation session. Often times, I can halt the blurry vision and numbness in my body within 20 minutes. Of course, I am conscious of the types of foods I eat and get plenty of sleep and stay well hydrated. I have learned to listen to my body through meditation and awareness and I am healthier because of it.
I highly recommend you conduct an online search for “guided meditation” and explore the websites that offer free sample recordings before purchase to ensure the meditation resonates with you. YouTube is a valuable resource as well.

Your meditation sessions don’t need to be long; often times, 10-15 minutes is all I need. It definitely comes easier the more you practice meditation. Once meditation becomes a habit, you will wonder how you ever got along without it in your life.
